Steak is what’s for Dinner!

I am pretty sure a good steak dinner was what the Doctor ordered, it is June 18th so I figured we could grill up some steaks, but mother nature wasn’t cooperating. So, instead we did a few pepper crusted NY Sirloins seared with some Tarragon – Roasted Garlic Butter and some steamed Broccoli.
It was pretty tasty, although grill might have been better. But what made the steak so much better was,of course, the butter! Compound butters on steaks, chicken, seafood or pork always seem to take it up one notch.
So, here is a simple recipe for Tarragon – Roasted Garlic Butter.
- 6 cloves garlic, roasted
- 1 tbls. tarragon, chopped
- 3 tbls. whole butter, softened
- 1 tsp. Soy sauce
- Salt & Pepper
Mix all ingredients in small bowl with spoon and keep at room temperature. Add as much as you want to your steak after if is seared, grilled or roasted. Serve immediately.
ENJOY!

Butter on steak….always. I have been a bit lazy when it comes to that…no compounds, just straight. I use rubs and then the butter. I will definitely have to give compound butter a try.
